I received word today from the Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris that my reconstruction led to an ID on this recent case. The Public Utility District that manages the parks and areas around the Columbia River saw my sketch and thought he was a homeless man they’d contacted several times about trespassing. Last contact with this man was May 21 2021 and the remains were found July 4 2021. Coroner Harris obtained radiographs of the subject from a local hospital, and forensic anthropologist Laura Fulginiti confirmed it was the unidentified man. The coroner will now attempt to locate family to notify them.
